    I'm getting ever more confused…!

    But right decision.

    And a shockingly wrong decision on the night.

    What happens now to the ref Alan Muir – to help him learn from his mistake?

    This will take some beating!

    From The Sun today, in an article where Jim Traynor is complaining about his interview aired last Tuesday on the BBC;

    "…Traynor claims he had presented examples of when the BBC had been “less than fair and even inaccurate when reporting on Rangers”, only for the broadcaster not to air his complaints…"

    Truly breathtaking stuff.

    If anyone should have complaints about the less than accurate reporting of all things 'Rangers' by the BBC..

    it's the long suffering Internet Bampots.

    I always thought Traynor was just a thick, loud, bullying type.

    But the man is clearly delusional.

    [And right up his own @rse!]

    JC, I'm guessing you're holding out for SFA President?

    [You probably know more about their own rules & regulations, or 'guidelines'.]

    I quickly scanned their 'Equal Opportunities' form, which looked fairly standard.

    Also fairly standard is this extract from their form;

    "…equal opportunities monitoring form

    The Scottish FA is committed to ensuring that applicants and employees from all sections of the community are treated equally and not discriminated against on the grounds of… religion…"

    So for example, the SFA Diversity & Social Inclusion manager should have at her fingertips right now;

    The religious diversity,

    – of Category 1 referees

    – of all SFA staff

    JC, go on, go on, go on… burn your bus pass and apply!

    You can clearly show evidence of your Admin proficiency by showing all your letters of complaint to – erm – the SFA, SPFL, CAS, HMRC, BBC, etc…

    You could be a valuable infiltrator for the Internet Bampots!

    J.J it's 'simply the best' confirmation of King being a shadow director: coming from Gerrard, no less.

    The long list of dodgy precedents / bending of the rules by the SFA is guaranteed to come back to bite them.

    It might take an outsider like the SMSM dubbed 'Mad Vlad' to enter Scottish football: someone who will just not take their nonsense – and just might rag doll the SFA through the courts?

    And I'd pay good money to see that…

    Lugosi, that awful joke deserves a straight red!  broken heart

    The unfunniest joke I've heard today is that an Eton/Oxbridge type from a privileged background,

    who studied classics and dead languages before sliding straight into a political career,

    is somehow the PM – again – of a country which prioritises political correctness, social inclusion and diversity for the general population, in our daily lives.

    Yet our head of government is a member of the 1%.

    Not terribly representative…  heart

    PM, yes I did notice that 'coincidence' with Klopp's extension.

    I genuinely think that the rookie Gerrard has done better than expected with The Rangers so far.

    He's never going to get the player budget at Ibrox to match his ambitions though.

    And, IMO, he's going to have to over achieve – like Alex Ferguson did at Aberdeen domestically and in Europe – to be considered a candidate for any of the EPL top jobs.

    Mibbees Gerrard has other ideas…  indecision

    OK, call me cynical but…

    we've seen the PR game played many times before in the media: release bad news when there is a planned, major event which will attract all the attention instead.

    So, today being all about the Election results – it would be ideal to quietly slip out some disappointing company financials, or news that a senior figure had left their organisation immediately ' to spend more time with their family', etc.

    Likewise – why would you choose to release really good news on a day like today?

    The Rangers web site and the SMSM are reporting today that Gerrard has now signed / extended his contract by 2 years, to 2024.

    Yes, over the last week or two there has been PR chat in the media that he could extend.

    So, when he has agreed a new deal you would think the news would be released to attract the maximum, positive exposure for Ibrox – like some day next week?

    Mibbees our resident, Hearts Bampots can add further…

    but, I hadn't heard of their new German manager Stendel, before now.

    And it seems that Budge took her time to get her preferred choice.

    On the face of it: a brave decision to try a new direction?

    Are the Hearts fans generally in favour of the appointment?

    [Can't say that I've seen too much coverage in the SMSM…]
