Regan has two choices before resigning for the same crimes, lying.
1. Claim like DM to have been duped and claim he thought all was above board when issuing the licence, and only finding this out after the High Court trial; resign for the error of not following procedures.
“But Regan revealed the SFA have been in dialogue with Celtic on this issue for the past three years and insisted the governing body had acted entirely in accordance with the rules.”
2. Accept all is above board and since you claim the club who has led to your error is the same club pursue them for lying about taxes, before you resign.
The SFA banned Whyte from Scottish football for life in April 2012 and fined him £200,000, but the money has never been received. Whyte said at the time: “I couldn’t care less. It makes no difference to my life whatsoever – and good luck collecting the money.”
But Regan claims the SFA could now take legal action to pursue the money.
“That will be something we take advice on and, should the opportunity present itself, we would definitely consider that,” he said.

The SFA have authority to recover money from clubs if directors do not pay, is this the same rangers
3. Close the door behind you when leaving you are a liar Mr regan and you have been caught like Jim Farry your predecessor

“…The conclusion of the Commission on sanction was that not disclosing the EBT details to the SPL/SFA did not of itself give Rangers any competitive advantage. It would have had the same competitive advantage even if full details had been disclosed. By not appealing to the SFA the SPL is not saying that competitive advantage is immaterial. It is material to sanction in a disclosure case if a competitive advantage was secured from non disclosure which the Commission held there was not…”
This is legal bullshit we know that having a club provide BUPA for your family, insurance, a car for the entire family and a tax free benefit etc. does not in itself give a sporting advantage, the advantage comes from the calibre of player you will be hoping to catch with these deals and there is your sporting advantage.
You put out a net to catch the best and if you cannot afford it don’t cheat the taxman.
However, by not disclosing the side payment advantages to avoid tax is improper registration and this means that for every time the SFA books were audited and licences granted a fraud was been perpetuated in the background. The SFA know this it’s in their rule book.(fecking chancers)
When you get caught this is when the punishments have to match the crime. If you are restricted in law from carrying out a thorough investigation fully due to restrictions that could otherwise influence a decision in law then you must act once restrictions are lifted, the high court and SC are over the decisions have been made and restrictions are no longer in place you must investigate and perform the actions demanded by your paying customers or you can piss off and demands must be made to bring in someone who will do the job right.

As discussed many times in the past this was mostly likely due to football agents and their clients not being able to trust a club’s ability to honour a commitment without a bit of paper being signed.
I see a lot in what you state to be probably how they thought or planned the EBT use. However i believe if the above statement you make above re the agents has signed the death warrant, as it is clear as day to the layman when two or more people engage in drawing up an agreement to ensure the reliability of the agreement for financial gain, this forms a second contract and the argument of mistaken it as not been intended as dual contracts will not hold in law.
Whatever way you look at the EBTs they are dual contracts and drawn up without consent this is the crime if you want, no-one is above the law and you cannot use the SFA and football to suit yourself. Even loans are contracts if strings are attached.
Anyway nice chatting and stay strong.

To Comply or not to Comply ?
Belguim would have made great opposition today.

To Comply or not to Comply ?
They have been in the press for assualting a priest, and hounding an SPFL guy and of course it is nothing to do with them and their backwardness, the priest happened to be open at the wrong time and the director guy should not have opened his mouth allegedly 30 years ago and stated he hated the old club now in liqidation. But none of this is sectarian related, after all the OO and Sevco is merely culture.

@Ejaria little bit of advise son don’t cross yourself when you enter the park to play for famous especially on the 12th it won’t endear yourself to us

Ask yourself this Craig Smith WTF has the problem  Ejaria or you?

To Comply or not to Comply ?
For me the bigger question to be asked would be when the marching season comes around are we as citizens to tolerate and accept that priests cannot be seen to be on the streets during this time. What happened at  the weekend was not merely an assualt on a man of the cloth but was an assualt on democracy, the irony is the man who was assualted is also a man of culture and should be free to express it as will be claimed by the marchers if they were to have their rights removed from marching.

BB 22.28 I posted on a couple of Rangers forums at the time calling this nonsense out for what it was.
Meanwhile Nikola Katic will no doubt be targeted by the colour police after wearing a pair of Orange boots in this evenings 6-0 victory over Bury in front of 41,025 supporters.

Think so why would that be mate? i dont recall old Rangers or any issue from anyone having a problem with other attire, i think you are deluding yourself and really only wanted to comment on the score tonight as no-one had mentioned it.

I think you have the wrong end of the stick it was your own leader at the time of the old club who felt orange tops was promoting an agenda he did not want the club involved in.

“RANGERS owner Charles Green has ruled out introducing an orange strip next season.
Previous owner Sir David Murray banned orange merchandise after the club were accused of profiting from sectarianism.
Critics claimed they shouldn’t use the colour of the Orange Order.
Green indicated a possible u-turn on the ban during a Q&A session with fans in Northern Ireland two weeks ago. When asked if the club would consider an orange kit, he said: “Yes, they have a number of designs and are coming near agreement with Adidas.”
But Ibrox officials ruled out such a move for at least a season. They said: “There are no plans for an orange kit next season.”
The club claimed their orange strip in 2002 was a tribute to their Dutch players.
In 2005, Murray axed non-traditional colours under an anti-sectarianism drive.”

So basically there was no orange in the old rangers, maybe sevco have adopted would need to ask the SFA to confirm if its in the colour scheme of strips and registered or is it just a money drive.

For what it is worth my daughter in law asked me if i would buy it for my 3 year old grandson. Being as she is from Newcastle she only sees it for what it is, a football strip.

So what gallery was this muppet playing to?

And Caixinha is adopting a no-nonsense approach for his team this season as he looks to improve on their third-place finish, where they ended 39 points behind Celtic.
Caixinha told the Daily Record: “From today, no one will wear boots of that colour because it is the colour of Celtic.
“The slogan ‘We are the People’ will be stamped on the walls for both our players and opponents to feel the strength of Rangers.
