99.4% voting in favour . The last time such an overwhelming show of support for a leader was recorded was in Pyongyang for Kim Jong Un .

I don't see any comment on how having a permit to play in the SPL is transferable to play in the EPL as far as I am aware the EPL has its own requirements and Morelos doesn't meet them .

I think it would probably be more trouble than it's worth and in general I don't think it's an issue it was only on a relatively few posts that I was questioning what was going on and could be down to one individual with nothing better to do . I was merely bringing the ability to manipulate to peoples attention so they didn't take a flurry of thumbs down personally.

To prove the point I have just issued myself 10 thumbs up in under 5 minutes (I will stop now)

@JC : I find it increasingly disheartening that many people I come across in life are not people of integrity , that lying is 2nd nature to them and many of these people are in positions of authority. I can console myself that I also know a few people who are a shining light in a world too often filled with darkness. I hold out little hope that those responsible for all the lies and skullduggery in many different situations will ever be held accountable for their crimes. In banking only little Iceland took them to task and won. All we can do is present the evidence and expose the criminality in the hope that someone somewhere will act . From the evidence I have seen , we have been lied to on far greater matters than football and cannot hold to account institutions guilty of mass murder and murder of some of the most prominent people our planet has ever produced . They will always find a Patsy to take the rap ,whether it's  Lee Harvey Oswald , Craig Whyte or Osama bin Laden is irrelevant as long as they can walk away scot free .

George Carlin sums it up best "it's a big club and you aint in it"

I hope your friend does rest in peace ,it sounds like he deserves to.

A small update from Phil which hints that level 5 puff pieces may not readily find themselves cleared for print so easily in the future (at least at the Times) and a teaser that it was a squirrel for something explosive . On a totally unrelated subject (maybe) are transfer fees subject to VAT ? and if so are they to be paid up front or in instalments alongside the staged payments?

The Rangers Football Club, formed in 1872, is……. not was (past tense) so without doubt they are saying that the club formed in 1872 is the club that the holding company run.

On the tax issue , it did occur to me that the reason they were attacking HMRC was because they had a current issue with taxation which considering their history would be the last people you would want to avoid paying then I reminded myself who the Chairman was and how it is almost in his DNA to try and avoid paying taxes. If there is an issue and HMRC now come knocking then the victim card is already half way down his sleeve.

Maybe they (the new Company that owns the old club) have dug a hole for themselves here. The new Company in its IPO did declare (or at least intimate) that they were the same club as the 1872 version and as has been said the "club" indemnified the EBT recipients for all tax demands . That leaves them 2 options , pay the tax (won't happen) or declare they are not the same "club" . The problem with option 2 is that they did declare to be in the IPO which misled investors as JC has pointed out by letter to the relevant authorities. Wouldn't it be lovely if they were forced to admit publicly that they were a new club and although they bought all those titles for £1 they cannot add any future trophies won by the new club to them.
