I’m told that a tabloid called the Sun claims that referee S. McLean phoned the sevco manager to apologise for missing a foul in the lead up to Hibs equaliser on Friday…

    is this true?

    is this common practice?

Have St Mirren’s phone lines been defunct for yonks?

    Cluster one….

    glad you posted that C1.

i was going to stick up a link.

good to see the authorities still know how to deal with such despicable – or even accidental and bureaucratic – discrepancies in the registration of players.

where would we be if clubs or clumpanies didn’t abide by basic rules?

Presumably it’s not something that takes place during the game.

This may be why Mr Morelos is prone to falling onto the ground – and also why the thoughtful Aiberdeen-fit-like fans offered him a mattress?

Sportscene highlights didn’t show this “offside ruling” which stopped St Mirren going 1-3 up on Aberdeen.

doubtless an honest mistake, despite the linesman being right beside the”offending” McAllister…

and there has been no concerrted whingeing by St Mirren fans, as these things even out over eternity, in Scotland.

And I never mentioned it on here as I don’t believe this site is the place to foster Whataboutery.

but as the place is now awash with whataboutery and manufactured hurt feelings…

From a dispassionate pov, 3 of the 4 Dallas penalties were unworthy: 2 outside the box, 1 Morelos CHOOSES to fall over an immobile foot upon which someone was standing.

Such an increasing amount of poor refereeing/honest mistakenly becomes demoralising.

As is the simplistic nonsense spouted by Cluster one at 19.06 above.

For purely footballing reasons, I sense that it would do Hibs no harm to suffer a crushing defeat later today.

indeed, I feel sure that a crushing defeat would have a cleansing, restorative impact on the club and its personalities. A base on which it can rebuild.

So…. all power to their opponents feet, heads but not their elbows, cos that would be a foul.
